When I grow up, I want to be an artist. I want to use my colorful pencil to draw this wonderful world to everyone. Some years ago, I did not know how to use the pencil to draw the picture for my mother and my father. One day, I found I could draw animals, people, mountains, seasons with the colorful pencils with teacher’s help. As a result, I want to be a artist. I haven’t write diaries for a period of time. I am now writing this just want to remember one thing. My study has fallen behind a lot this term. I can keep my score in the top ten in the whole school ranking before. But this term I fall behind. I nearly draw back to fifty. I know the reason is because I am too arrogant. They shouldn’t be considered as bad friends even if they do something wrong to us. We are supposed to listen calmly and even-temperedly to their words as well as accept their sincere apology. A trifle is not supposed to injure a great friendship. Friendship is about constant attention. Long time of neglect will upset our friends.
If we let nature take its course without taking any action, friendship will eventually wither, like a flower which has been left without caring for too much time. Now it won’t be so hard to realize that friendship is not as easy as it may seem. It is like the reservoir, which will dry up if one doesn’t constantly pipe water into it. It is like the glass, which is fragile and needs careful attention. It is sometimes difficult to handle. To conclude, friendship is a mutual spiritual assist. We get supported and helped while at the same time support and help our friends.

Today, I was so excited because I finally became a high school student, which meant my life came to a new chapter. On the first day, my parents went with me to school. Memorial Temple of Lord Bao
包公祠座落在开封城内碧波荡、风景如画的包公湖西畔，占地一公顷，是一组典型的仿宋风格的古建筑群。
它气势宏伟、风格凝重典雅。祠内主要建筑与景观有大门、二门、照壁、碑亭、二殿、回廊、大殿、东西展殿、假山瀑布、石雕百龙亭与喷泉，小桥流水、嶙峋奇石。
其中大殿内高3米多，重达吨的包公铜像引人注目，包公蟒袍冠带，正襟端坐，一手扶椅，一手握拳，仿佛要拍案而起，一身凛然不可予夺的浩然正气。

lord bao memorial temple is located in baohe park just southwest of the city center. it was initially built in 1066 in memory of baozheng, a famous upright officer during the northern song dynasty (960 - 1127).
lord bao memorial temple is a typical ancient architectural comple with style imitating that of the song dynasty. covering an area of one hectare, it mainly consists of entrance gate, the second gate, the stele pavilion, the main hall, the second hall and the east and west ehibition rooms.
in the main hall, a bronze statue of lord bao, which is three meters in height and tons in weight, is displayed. with his hat and waist band on, baozheng sits upright. one of his hands placed on the chair with the other the second hall, the historical materials and classic books about lord bao, the poems made by lord bao, monument inscription, and kaifeng residence and office monument inscription are ehibited.

Protecting the Intangible Cultural Heritages
Like tangible cultural heritages such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, intangible cultural heritages like Peking Opera and Confucius-commemorating rituals are equally crucial. We should make our utmost efforts to preserve intangible heritages because, without their physical form of existence, they are in greater risk of extinction.
According to UNESCO’s Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (20_), all forms of social customs and habits, folklore, performing arts, rituals, oral traditions, festivals, traditional crafts and various knowledge and practices about nature and universe can be classified as intangible cultural heritages. As a country consisting of a great diversity of ethnic groups and with time-honored history and civilization, China abounds in intangible cultural heritages. Cultural heritages connect modern people with the historical past, allowing them to acquire a cultural and historical identity. Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered absolutely rootless and we would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.
However, the modernization process poses mounting threats to intangible heritages. Many people have a blind faith in the latest electronic devices. It is also pathetic to see elderly people in possession of such legacies pass away without transmitting them to the younger generation. Faced with those challenges, we should both preserve and renovate our ancestral heritages so that we can help contribute to the cultural diversity of the world and return to our spiritual homeland in this age of impersonal science and technology.

My parents live in the country. They keep a dog called Ah Fu. One day my parents went to work in the fields taking my little sister and Ah Fu along. While they were working, my sister walked to a river nearby. Ah Fu followed her there. She was trying to pick a flower when she fell into the river. Ah Fu barked and jumped into the water immediately. When my parents heard Ah Fu barking they ran to the river They saw Ah Fu swimming towards the bank carrying my little sister. My parents praised Ah Fu warmly. It was our brave Ah Fu who had saved my little sister.
