劳动教育是学校教育的重要组成部分，学校没有必要的劳动教育，学生就不可能得到完整的教育，这是教育的一条基本规律。党的教育方针明确指出，教育必须同生产劳动相结合，并且在课程计划中也规定初中学生每年应该有144学时的劳动教育课，这都是有科学依据的。可现实的情况告诉我们，在近20年的中国教育活动中，劳动教育已逐步走出了校门，目前，有很多有识之士已经发出了强烈的呼声缺少劳动教育是中国目前教育中的最严重的问题之一。为什么中国有那么多的大学生毕业后就失业？就是因为我们的劳动教育没有跟上，在人们心目中没有正确的劳动观念，大多数青年人，鄙视劳动，厌恶劳动，把自己看来太高，都不愿意踏踏实实地做事，实实在在地从基础做起，其实有很多人，他根本就不会做事。中国真的没有就业岗位吗？根本不是。
我们应该知道，劳动是人生存的最基本的方式，一个不能劳动的人，他只能寄生一生；一个不愿劳动的人，他只能乞讨一生；一个不会劳动的人，他只能贫困一生。劳动只有简单和复杂之分，没有高低贵贱之别。我们还应该认识到，很多成功人士都是从简单劳动开始的。其中的道理很简单，一个人如果他连简单劳动都做不好，那么他还哪有能力做复杂劳动呢？所以，在这里，我请同学们记住，你们现在正处在一个全面打基础的阶段，你们应该抓住每一个劳动锻炼的`机会，从简单的劳动做起。
