在20_年12月的四六级考试中，四级写作爆冷考了一个新题型。三套试卷中，有两套都是要求考生写一篇“proposal”（提议/提案），很多同学拿到题目一脸懵，完全不知道怎样作答。

这个其实是属于应用文类型。 从2000年1月到20_年6月，四级考试中议论文和应用文的考核比例是6:4，所以大家在复习的时候，也要重视应用文的复习。

今天我们就来说一下怎么写proposal。

对于这个题目，我们可以从格式和内容两个方面去着手。

而且，对于四六级的所有作文题目，我们都是可以按照这个思路去完成的：“格式+内容”。因为，内容固然重要，但是形式出错，同样也很难取得高分。

一、格式

总体而言，提案的格式类似书信，包括称呼，正文和落款。

首先，我们来看称呼，对称呼而言，分两种情况来讨论：

其一，已知收信人；其二，不知收信人。

知道收信人，我们可以用“Dear+ **”，具体情况有：

（1）知道“姓名”：Dear Bob, / Dear Tom, / …

（2）知道“职位”：Dear Professor, / Dear Manager,/…

（3）知道“关系”：Dear Friends, / Dear Classmates, / …

这里要注意的是不可以直接称呼“DearTeacher”，因为“Teacher”代表不了一个人的职位。

其二，如果不知道收信人是谁，称呼可用“Dear Sir or Madam, ”/ “To Whom It May Concern,”。

无论哪种情况，需要注意的是大小写和末尾的逗号都是格式所要求的，不能随意更改，且要顶格写，不能空格。

20_年12月四级一套写作试题完整题目是这样的：

要求考生写一篇提案，但是也没有说具体的收信人是谁，所以这时我们可以使用“Dear Sir or Madam, ”或者“To Whom It May Concern,”。

称呼完成之后，接下来就可以着手写正文部分了。正文部分属于内容方面，呆会儿第二点会具体讲。

信的最后要有落款，落款包括两方面的内容，第一行写敬语，写成“Sincerely yours, / Yours sincerely,”，如果你记不住Sincerely，可以就写成“Yours，”没有问题，只是前者的表达看起来更高级一些，相应地获得高分的概率也更大一些；第二行写名字，同样是在这套试题中，我们可以看到名字没有明确给出，但是不能用本人的真实姓名，这时我们可以用“Wang Ming” 来代替。

对于落款部分，需要特别强调的是

1. 敬语的第一个单词首字母要求大写且结尾使用逗号，

2.“yours”中的“s”不可以省略，

3.“Wang Ming”首字母分别大写且中间留有空格，

4.落款的部分靠右对齐，写在正文结束之后。

这样，我们就有了如下格式：

正文部分

Sincerely yours,

Wang Ming

二、内容

接下来就可以着手写正文部分了，正文部分一般分成三段话，每段话首行缩进两个字符：第一段表明写作目的，第二段提案内容，第三段表示期待，希望我的提案能够被官方采纳，期待收到回信等等。

对于“建议书”，尽管以前没考过，但按照题目提示，作文内容囊括“目的、时间、参与者和活动内容”几大要点，分数就不会低。

第一段：

①交待背景：为什么要写这份建议书？

②表明意图：我是来提建议的。

参考：Our school is going to organize an orientation program to help the newcomers accustom themselves to the new environment and academic studies. Iwould like to provide some ideas and suggestions to make this program better.

具体说明活动目的、活动内容、活动时间及参与者。

这四点是题干中要求的，先后顺序无所谓，只要不漏掉就行。也可以自己补充一些。

参考：The program aims not only to help freshmen acclimatize to living in dormitories with several roommates, but also to primarily understand the difference between academic studies in colleges and that back in their high schools. Therefore, it may include two parts: ice-breaking games on the topic of ^v^your local customs” and academic lectures preparing them for formal studies which will last for a week in total.
