ADVANTAGES OF FIVE-DAY WEEK
A five-day week has been put into practice in China, which is welcomed by most people. It is obvious that a five-day week has brought about many advantages to the society and people. Firstly, families have benefited from it very much. They have more time to spend together or go for an outing during the weekend. Children are able to learn useful skills, women have enough time to take care of the house, go shopping or relax.
Secondly, society has also benefited from it. As people have two days off, they would like to go shopping or traveling, which can promote the commerce and tourism. Then the shops and travel agency will have more customers.
Thirdly individuals have also enjoyed the benefit from the five-day week, because they have more time for whatever they want to do during the weekend. For example, one likes stamp collection; he will have enough time to enjoy it. What’s more, individuals can make full use of a weekend for a good rest. Adequate rest will enable him to work more efficiently.
In a word, a five-day week is beneficial to the society, families and individuals.

Nowadays, English is widely used in the world. Therefore the following two difficulties should be paid more attention.
First, I think new words are the biggest difficulty for us to deal with. There is no easy way in keeping a word in our memories for a long period of time. No pains, no gains. Fifthly, I will listen to English radio as often as possible to improve my listening.

English is always my favorite subject and I am good at English. I would like to share four good studying habits with you.
Firstly, I always remember 20 new words every day, and never give up. Secondly, I always go over grammar points. Thirdly, I always read an English article in China Daily every day. Fourthly, I always write an English article every week and ask teacher to correct that for me to improve my writing.
If you do things above, I am sure your English will also be improved.
I have made a lot of improvements / progress in English study. The following is my way to overcome the difficulties.
Firstly, I do half an hour’s morning reading every day and I find it very useful to open my mouth. And then I usually spend another half hour listening to English programs like VOA or BBC to improve my listening. Lastly, I attend a full-time English class to improve grammar. The teacher advises me to buy a book, called Advanced English Grammar. It helps me a lot with my English study.
These above are ways to overcome my difficulties in English studies.
