Last term, I bought a magazine that I had always wanted. I liked it so much that I was careful every time I carried it. But one day, my best friend Tom took the magazine without telling me. When I found it, I was very angry. But I calmed down soon. I thought of how Tom helped me when I was in trouble and I didn't want to break the relationship between us. So I controlled my anger and decided to have a talk with him. I told him that he should tell me if he wanted to read the magazine. After the talk, our relationship became stronger.

It’s Our Duty to Save Water
As we know , water is very important to man, we can’t live without water.
The amount of water which is suitable to drink is less and less. But some people don’t care about it .They waste a lot of water in their daily life. Even worse, they pour dirty water in to throw rubbish into rivers , too. Many rivers and lakes are seriously must be done to stop the pollution. Only in this way can we live happily.
If we don’t save water, the last drop of water will be a tear-drop of us.
How to be a good learner？
As a good learner， we should have good habits and ways of learning。
We need to get ready for our lessons before class and always listen carefully in class。 It’s good to study in groups and help each other。 We should do more reading in our free time。 If we have some problems， we’d better ask others for help。 As a student， working hard is important， but don’t forget to do sports and keep healthy。

We should also achieve a balance between schoolwork and hobbies. Try to plan your spare time well. Don’t lose heart at any time. You will make great progress through hard work.
When having problems, we can ask people around us for help. It’s not wise to keep our worries to ourselves.
The Internet is being more and more important in our daily life. On the net, we can learn news both at home and abroad and all kinds of other information as well. We can also send messages by e-mail, make phone calls, go to net school, read different kinds of books and learn foreign languages by ourselves. Besides, we can enjoy music, watch sports matches and play chess or cards. On the net, we can even do shopping, have a chat with others and make friends with them. Timeflys. A week has been gone.
This week I have nothing sepecial except helping anold lady across the road. I left home for school in a hurry on Monday morning,because I had flag-raising ceremony on that morning. When I was nearly arrivedat school, I saw an old lady whose hair is all white and she seemed didn’t movesmoothly. I worried about that she would have accidents without help. So I help her to go through theroad. As a result, I was late for school, but I was very happy.
Nowadays, working overtime is so common in many companies, especially in foreign companies, private companies, and joint ventures. As far as I am concerned, there are two main reasons of working overtime. For one thing, there is indeed too much work to do. If it is so, the boss should compensate staffs by paying them as overtime salary or giving them vacations. For another, some staffs are not suitable for their positions. In that case, the boss ought to help them to improve their working efficiency. If they are still not qualified, boss may change the positions for them, or to the worst, dismiss them. That's all what I think about working overtime.
Myfavorite building is Zhuhai Fishing Girl, which is located at the scenicXianglu Bay, in Haibin Park. The statue is composed of granite and stands high, weighing 10 tons. It was built by a professor called Panhe fromGuangzhou Art College in 1982. Now it has become the landmark of Zhuhai. Itlooks so glorious.
Look, she holds a pearl highly in the air with both of herhands in an elegant pose, as if she is greeting the guests from also symbolizes the brightness of Zhuhai. Every year, thousands of peoplecome to see it with their own eyes.
