My hometown is Lhasa, the largest city on the roof of the world. It is the heart and soul of Tibet. I think Lhasa is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
It is surrounded by high mountains. There is seldom a day when you can't see the dark blue Lhasa River flowing quietly around the city. Lhasa is a mixture of tradition and fashion.
First of all, Lhasa has a long history and is the politics, culture and economy of Tibet In the center, there are many famous scenic spots. Potala Palace is the most famous, magnificent and wonderful place. I think it is the unique artistic achievement of Tibetan people.
Similarly, the buildings, sculptures and paintings in the City show the industriousness, wisdom and bravery of our people. Secondly, under the guidance of China's reform and opening up policy, Lhasa has undergone many changes and many new things appear here It has changed the appearance of the city. New and old buildings go hand in hand.
Schools and roads have been repaired. The Qinghai Tibet railway to Lhasa is under construction. Many shopping malls have been opened.

As it is known to us all,there are 55 minority groups in China,each with its traditional customs,costumes and lets take a look at the Tibetan Minority.
The Tibetan Minority group live in Qinghai,Gansu,Sichuan and Yunnan the highest ridge in the world─beautiful and mysterious Tibet is their major habitat.
As the fertilized prairie stretches around the habitants as far as the eyes can see,most people live on animal husbandry,raising sheep,goats,cattle and growing a special kind of plant called account of the unique climate,people often wear warm and comfortable boots in winter,and they are always dressed in delicate robes which are made of the fur of they take off one sleeve of the clothes and tie it around their waists in order to work easily and use it as warm quilts at night.

Guangzhou Zoo is the largest one in our city.
The ticket for an adult is 80 yuan . The children over m in height can pay only half of it, and the ones under m can enter the zoo for free. The zoo opens from 9:00 am to 4:00pm on weekdays and from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on weekends.
By the way, while visiting the zoo, you'd better not feed the animals with the food you take.

Nowadays, working overtime is so common in many companies, especially in foreign companies, private companies, and joint ventures. As far as I am concerned, there are two main reasons of working overtime. For one thing, there is indeed too much work to do. If it is so, the boss should compensate staffs by paying them as overtime salary or giving them vacations. For another, some staffs are not suitable for their positions.
