I remember once a time, my friend asked me to go to see the movie with her, I said yes without hesitation. My friends called me, she asked why did I disappear, I said I was sleeping at home, she became very angry, until then did I think about our date. I felt so sorry, I break my promise for the first time, I realize I did the very bad thing. Even though I apologized for many times, my friend was still angry with me. 　　Last year, a tragedy happened in Fudan University, a postgraduate was poisoned by his classmate and died, now more than a year has passed, his classmate who killed him got caught and the law declared him to carry the dead penalty. The murder was so regretful that he made apologize to both parents and the society for the negative effect he had caused. Dead penalty is so brutal, but the murder deserves, we must learn the lesson. When we get angry, we should not think about punishing others, we must calm down and have a talk to others, so that the problem can be fixed, or we will make the unforgettable mistake. Study is important, but we should not ignore the cultivation of moral and personality, the society need the person who is talented and kind-hearted. 　　去年，复旦大学发生了一起悲剧，一名研究生被他的同学投毒，最终死亡，如今一年多过去了，杀害他的同学被抓起来，法律宣判他为死刑。犯人很后悔，向双方父母和社会道歉，为了他给社会带来的负面影响。死刑很残酷，但是犯人死得其所，我们必须要学到教训。当我们生气，不应该想着惩罚别人，必须要冷静下来，和别人谈一谈，这样问题才能得到解决，不然就会犯下不可原谅的错误。学习很重要，但是我们不应该忽略道德和品性的修养，社会需要的是有才华和热心肠的人。投毒案将要告一段落，然而教训却不会停止。

　　Today, we live in the modern world, most things we do can use the machine. The technology brings so many convenience to us, it facilitates our life. As we are facing the new products all the time, the traditional things are fading away. Take the paper-cut for example. When I was very small, paper-cut was so popular in my grandma’s generation, most women could cut all kinds of interesting shapes. While today when I went back to my hometown, I found that most of them had stopped cutting papers, because they could buy them at the very low price. What’s more, the young people don’t learn such art, for the parents think it is not necessary for their children to learn the old-fashion thing. The tradition should not be abandoned, it is the reflection of our culture. Even facing the challenge, we need to inherit the tradition.
