I like to travel so much. When holiday comes, I will make travel plans. My friends like travel, too. So we make up the group. Travel means a lot to me. On the one hand, I can broaden my vision. With the development of technology, today we live in the world with high technology. Reading Interests of Senior Middle School Students
Recently, a survey has been on to find out the reading interests of senior middle school students.
ln this survey, one thousand senior middle school students from ten schools in Hubei Province were interviewd. They were asked which they liked reading most among the four categories of English articles: news, stories, popular science articles and articles about learning methods.
The survey shows that more than half of the students like to read news most. Twenty-six percent of the students say that English stories are their favorite. Only seven percent of the students are most interested in reading articles about learning methods. However, the number of the students who enjoy reading popular science articles doubles that of those who prefer reading articles about learning methods.
Helping people is the traditional virtue for our Chinese. It is not a big talk. We also need to do it in the reality life. We are only small children that we can’t give a lot of money to them. But we can help them in the reality life. For example, we can help the blind to go across the road; we can help the people whose hand is not convenient to bring their things. Every year there are high school students joining the college entrance exam in June, then in July, the scores come out, students start to choose colleges. Some students won’t get the ideal results, most of them want to repeat high school study in order to join the exam again. In my opinion, it is not a wise choice.

People are wondering about if there are living creatures in other planets. Scientists have been searching for the answer all the time. Though the official never publishes any information about the existing of another life, most people believe that life exists in outer space. I am not a brave girl, I am afraid of losing face in front of my friends and parents, so I always let the chance go and refuse to try. Chinese diet is considered to be one of the most healthy diet in the world because it contains less sugar and fat, keeping us away from obesity. Those deep fried chips and burgers served in the western fast food restaurants are rich in sugar and fat, which has a great negative effect on our health. In everybody’s eyes, I am a good girl, because I make the good marks in the exams and help my parents to do things. Unlike other students, who will go against their parents, I follow my parents’ words. I don’t think that to do something goes against the adults is the wise choice, but I do want to do something new. Recently, I want to cut my hair and make the short style. My mother doesn't agree with me, because she thinks a girl should have the long hair. This time, I insist on my idea. My parents live in the country. They keep a dog called Ah Fu. One day my parents went to work in the fields taking my little sister and Ah Fu along. While they were working, my sister walked to a river nearby. Ah Fu followed her there. She was trying to pick a flower when she fell into the river. Ah Fu barked and jumped into the water immediately. When my parents heard Ah Fu barking they ran to the river They saw Ah Fu swimming towards the bank carrying my little sister. Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy, for I have classes all the day and teachers leave us a lot of homework. Today was the first day of my new life. I looked at my new books and checked everything for the new school year. I was excited as well as worried.

自从我进入大学已经半年了，我发现大学的学习方式和高中时不一样的。下面我会和你一起分享我的想法。
Firstly, we're more or less pushed by our teachers to learn to get a great grade at high school. That's to say, it's not initiative. On the contrary, on the college campus, no one would push us to study, except our-self. What's more, at high school, our teachers explained almost every word and text specific, but our new teachers would not explain as detailed as high school teachers.
首先，在高中我们或多或少都是被老师逼着去学习来取得好的成绩。也就是说，并不是积极主动的。相反，在大学校园里，没人会逼我们去学习，除了我们自己。而且，在高中，我们的老师几乎都是逐字逐句地解释，但是我们现在的新老师并不像高中老师那样解释得那么详细。
Secondly, at high school, we're only permitted to study science subject or humanities subject, and we would study extremely hard to get more marks which made us stay up. Worse still, in spare time, we never did some sporting and relaxed ourselves so as to not fall behind in the study. However, in college, we're allowed to learn what we're interested in. Besides, when we're free, we always take part in great variety activities which makes us obtain different ability.
其次，在高中，我们只要学习文科或者理科，为了得高分我们会很努力地学习，甚至经常熬夜。而且，在业余时间，为了不在学习上落后我们从来没有做一些运动来放松自己。然而，在大学里，我们可以学我们感兴趣的。此外，当我们有空的时候，我们经常参加各种各样可以提高能力的活动。
Last but not least, in high school, we aim at being admitted to a famous university. But in college, we are not only study but also to establish a relationship with students to get along well with others.
最后但并非最不重要的，在高中时，我们的目标就是被名牌大学的录取。但在大学，我们不仅仅要学习还要和学生们建立友好关系，与他人好好相处。
To conclude, although our lifestyle has changed a lot, we still need more self-control and self-awareness in college. We can't only focus our energy on computer games; we should not kill the time. Instead, we had better take advantages of the time to obtain the ability to confront the challenge. Only so, we will become more competitive and we can have a bright future.
